We're promoting sustainable home tours and Green Building marketing events in the hope that a community of passionate individuals will come together to help each other create green homes in the Tri-State and support the Cincinnati Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.
The Moothart Residence, Jan 16 tour, utilizes corrugated metal fiber cement panels, and cedar on the exterior. The passive solar orientation was implemented in the design. The walls and roof were constructed of structural insulation panels (SIPs) which make the house extremely well insulated and quiet. There is a large south facing white metal roof. It is orientated for future solar panels/home battery installation. Learn more.
